Does anyone else find that the weather affects how prominent their astral limbs are? For example when it's really windy or sunny my wings and earswill feel much more prominent than usual while if I'm walking on muddy ground I'll be able to feel my hooves much better. Does this happen to anyone else here?

If a storm is about to hit, while it doesn't so much affect my wings and stuff, I tend to feel really tense and powerful and energized but it's not as nice as it sounds since I can't really release the energy until the storm starts and I tend to get really antsy and distractible and can't calm down and my arms feel weird.
Windy weather just feels pleasant in general.

I get reaction to incoming storms too, but mostly with a sense of eagerness and anticipation. and when it begins, i could watch entranced outside for hours. it makes me feel charged in a positive sense!

I also get a reaction to storms. It always feels like there's a tense energy building up and it makes me really fidgety until the storm breaks, and when it does I'll stare out the window at it for as long as I can. When the storms passed usually I'll feel really refreshed which is nice. ^u^

@aku & @selkey
Yeah, I feel that way too. God Dang I really love storms. I wonder if its a winged kin thing?
I think the worst thing though is when its overcast and hot and muggy for days on end but it refuses to even rain. I guess because everything's so stagnant?

Coruscation i don't know, though it is highly unlikely since flying in a storm could easily get one killed by a thunderbolt. heh.

Coruscation@aku It could be the affect of adrenaline though. Like rollercoasters or skydiving for humans. Usually falling from that height would kill them but at the same time it feels enjoyable. Also yes I hate it when it just refuses to rain. Though it's even worse when there's a thunderstorm brewing and it just doesn't break. If feels really stagnant and there's just so much pent up energy but it just isn't getting released and it's just frustrating. X(

(AUGH I TYPED LIKE AN ENTIRE THING AND THEN IT DELETED IT)
@selkey Yes! Exactly!
But do any of you feel particularly connected to storms/wind/weather or have memories or (possibly imaginary) childhood experiences of manipulating it? Like I've been thinking that my strong weather connection was related to my kintype but maybe its more of a general thing?

Coruscation well, when i was a child i was somewhat scared by thunder. But recently thunder seemed to appear whenever i was sad, like a comforting strange coincidence, so i started to feel simpathy towards thunders. also i discovered that a large part of my life had been influenced by wind in an astrological sense and the sky in general means a lot to me. so maybe it's more of a general thing. also it's difficult for one to having manipulated an element. elements are primordial nature forces, manipulating one would mean have a power similar to gods. i mean, reality is somewhat different from the usual magic from books where one can create maybe a little current of wind or a tornado, related to how much one is powerful.

@aku idk, like I thought i was able to call breezes in elementary school (and it still kinda seems to work?) but i know thats likely completely impossible probably and was likely just mostly coincidences but idk.
But i dunno
at this point i kinda think elemental/weatherkin could maybe be a possibility for me at this point but i dunno I wish i knew some people in that category that i could talk to and stuff
