So my old tablet was getting rather frustrating to use so I just got a new one, the Monoprice 10x6.25 inch tablet from amazon. My old one was a Wacom Bamboo tablet but they're rather expensive and the driver kept uninstalling itself which was frustrating. :V
So out of interest I was just wondering if any of you folks happened to use the monoprice? Or are there any brands of tablet you particularly like?

well i don't know if the monoprice is this LINKBut it's oddly identical to mine which is the only available from Mediacom LINKAnyway that much problem with a bamboo is strange from what i've heard: they're the cheapest model from Wacom but still pretty functional. Indeed my Mediacom one hasn't a sensor for the leaning of the pen, lowering the quality, which instead a bamboo tablet has(from what i know). anyway buying something priced over the one hundred is always better when it comes to graphic tablets! |

Well I tried all the fixes and none of them seemed to work. ^-^' I do plan to buy a better tablet in future but I'm a beginner right now so I'd like to get better at digital art first given that I'll be moving countries in a little over a year where I'll be able to get cheaper shipping for most good brands. I just need something to doodle with in the meantime. :V

Trying to find a replacement for "phantom" that works for me and isn't rude, using () meanwhile

I have a Wacom intuos 4 and its served me well for the past couple of years. When the driver is acting up I can usually fix it by restarting the computer or the tablet service. My biggest trouble with it is the cords keep getting messed up so it only detects that it's even plugged in about half the time (next tablet I get, I definitely want to get one with a wireless computer connection).
Actually I've had fun doodling on my iPad recently. It's got some really decent art apps, and the only real problem is no fine-tip stylus and no pen pressure, though I kinda want to get a special pen pressure stylus for my birthday to remedy the second problem.

Coruscation, usually problems to the wire comes from a bad keeping of the tablet. Like, mine also have some connection problem, but it is because the wire is a little out of place because i have a bad habit of bending it too near the junction with the table so the problem arised ^^' i wouldn't confide too much in a wireless one, usually wireless things keep having a lot of connection trouble sometimes! @selkey- from what i can say aside from painting the most of digital art comes from knowing how to use the program in a decent way. And that's why i'm an idiot at digital art aside from the very basic cell-colouring and shading with black lineart, lol. I would like to get a wacom too! intuos 4 for now, cintiq in the future when it will be worth it v:

@aku yeah I haven't been the kindest to my tablet. It's been knocked off tables and hung by the wire tons of times because I'm clumsy.
